The above photos, from the personal collection of Air Vice-Marshal 'Johnnie' Johnson - top-scoring Allied fighter ace of WWII in the European theatre - were taken in Normandy shortly following the invasion in June 1944.

Johnnie's son, Chris, and daughter-in-law, Pam, have run Skyscapes since its establishment  in 1990. Chris and Pam feel fortunate and proud to have had Johnnie as their Chairman, until his death in 2001.
